Subtitle desappeared from the dashboard!

    So, I just noticed that if I save the post the subtitle field shows up again.

    Exactly! Saving the post, even incomplete, the subtitle field appears again!

    Is there no possibility of the subtitle appear before saving the post?

    the issue arised when i upgraded wordpress to version 4.
    it seems that when you add a new post, the subtitle field is not visible on the panel.
    when the post is saved or published, the field appears.

    could you please check this?

    Same issue here. Field doesn’t appear till after saving the post. Just updated to latest version of plugin. Earlier version worked fine in WordPress 4.0. Didn’t mind field appearing in Pages/unsupported content types.
