We have set up a discount rule based on the subtotal amount in the shopping cart to determine when to offer a free gift.

    • Filter: Set all goods
    • Condition Rule: Set subtotal ≥ $1000, count all items in the cart
==> In this case, a free gift will only be offered when the subtotal after discounts exceeds $1000.

However, if we change the settings to the following:

    • Filter: Set all goods
    • Condition Rule: Set subtotal ≥ $1000, count all items selected by the filter
==> In this case, a free gift will be offered when the subtotal after discounts does not reach $1000, but the subtotal of items at regular price exceeds $1000.

Since we expect the subtotal after discounts to exceed the specified amount before offering a free gift, we would like to know how to adjust the settings. Is there an issue with the plugin in this regard?
