Subversion error copying my plugin for a new release
-
Hello,
I’m the author of the Editorial Calendar plugin. I’m trying to release a new version which supports WordPress 3.3. I’ve made my coding changes, updated my readme file and I’m ready to tag my code for the final release.
I’m running this command:
svn cp -m “Tagging for version 1.7.” https://plugins.svn.www.ads-software.com/editorial-calendar/trunk/ https://plugins.svn.www.ads-software.com/editorial-calendar/tags/1.7
and getting this response from the server:
svn: PROPFIND of ‘/!svn/vcc/default’: could not connect to server (https://plugins.svn.www.ads-software.com)
This has been going on since last night. However, I checked my plugin page (https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/editorial-calendar) and it looks like the new version is released. This leaves me really confused.
Should I still be tagging for releases like I used to? Is there something wrong with the Subversion server for the plugins? Why did the release go out before I created the tag?
Thanks,
Zack
