Success Notice / Submission Confirmation not working

We have two forms on the site. One is on the contact page and it is working correctly, and then another on the Application page and it won’t show confirmation when the form is submitted.
The form is working and does submit, but it does not give a confirmation message that it was sent.
How do I fix this issue?
