• I’m trying to set up the paypal express checkout plugin, and have no idea what to put in the fields for the success and cancel url. I understand what the point of them is, but don’t know what I need to put in. Any help would be appreciated.

  • You can create two pages in WordPress for this, with the appropriate text. You’ll then have URLs like these, for example:

https://www.yourdomain.com/ppcancel -> put this in the PP cancel field
https://www.yourdomain.com/ppsuccess -> put this in the PP success field

    Does that make sense?

I believe so. Do I save the pages as drafts?

No, you’ll need to publish them so they’ll be visible by your buyers.

That makes sense to me, but…this might be a stupid question…

I’ll just have those two pages visible among my others? That’s gonna be kinda strange, no?

Do you mean visible in your menu?

If your theme has your menu set to automatically display all your pages, then you’ll have to find a way to exclude those two pages from the menu. Either use WordPress’s custom menu, which allows you to pick and choose which pages are displayed via a very simple interface in the admin area, or first check if your existing menu has the ability to exclude pages – it’ll depend on your theme and how it’s built.
