    Hi.
I always use this plugin with practically no errors.
But now, when trying to restore a site (live or development) after the process finished, it changes nothing.
I made a test with a fresh installation and after the restore process is finished, nothing changed.
Any page, post or media! Nothing was imported.

    My site’s around 480mb
    PHP 7.1
    Wordpress version 4.9.8

What can i do to resolve that?

    Thanks!

    Hi RoosGold,

Sorry to hear that this is not going smoothly for you.
Could you please validate your backup for me?
Please drag and drop the .wpress backup here https://traktor.servmask.com and let me know if you are able to browse the file.

    Hi Pim,

    Thanks for your response!

I used the backup validator and was able to navigate through the files successfully.

I’m also experiencing this issue – No data imports to local environment from staging. I can see my files using the backup validator but what do I do next?

    @whitneywooyy

Could you drop us an email at support at servmask.com so that we can take a look at what went wrong for you?

    Kind regards
    Lesley

I’m having the same issue. I can see the files in the validator, but there doesn’t seem to be a way of copying or downloading them.
I just want to restore one file.

I’m having the same problem. Everything appears to be on the server and in the database. No errors during the migration process; and, I saved the permalinks three times after the install. I always do one extra, just in case ??

I did another site, on the same server, same website except for content and domain, same day, with in a short period of each other, and, I had no problems at all. I also ran the export again to see if it created a file that looked different then the one I had. They were exactly the same files and sizes.

Any updates on what has caused this issue to recently pop up? Thank you for the help!

Hey all – I was able to solve the issue. I am using MAMP to develop locally and as it turned out all I needed to do was upgrade my mySQL databases (through MAMP). This solved my migration issue and all the data appeared after the upgrade.

    Thank you @whitneywooyy!

I’ve been doing all of my editing through phpMyadmin on my server. However, checking to double check my databases are up to date is something I had not checked yet. I will look into that now.

As soon as I figure out what was causing the issue in my environment, I will post the solution here as well! Thank you, again!
