Successfully connected to self-hosted Matomo but no data is being collected

  • I’ve successfully connected my self-hosted Matomo to a couple of WordPress sites, but zero data is being collected. Help!

    When I log into Matamo it seems to think I’ve not set up the connections, but in WordPress WP-Piwik settings it says “WP-Matomo 1.0.23 is successfully connected to Matomo 4.3.1. You are running WordPress 5.7.2.”

    I’m not sure what to do next?

    I’ve just realised that whilst it says “WP-Matomo 1.0.23 is successfully connected to Matomo 4.3.1. You are running WordPress 5.7.2.”

    It also says:

    “Determined site: Example (https://www.example.com)”

    Which I guess is perhaps the issue. How do I fix that?

    UPDATE: so, I unchecked autoconfig and the selected the correct Determined site. But still no data is being collected. Help!

    Hi!

    I have a very similar problem!
    Ive connected Matomo successfully.

    But it only tracks data, if I myself as an admin navigate the site.

    Matomo does not set a cookie.

    Does anyone has an idea what is wrong?
