• Hi All,

I moved a wordpress installation to the root of my directory and everything works perfectly… however something strange is going on with plugins.

When I moved the files my plugins directory permissions changed 0000… no problem I thought I will change them all back to 644… so I did. Nothing would work, Ive now got them set to 7777 (for the time being I know this is a bit dangerous!)

Now something peculiar is happening. When all the plugins are activated, none of them work at all… my front page wont work properly :
    https://www.zaboura.com
Im getting a ‘can’t open file’,
    however
when I deactivate the plugins in the backend, my widgets re-appear but wont work properly (all settings aren’t applied… for instance my new css that I used to style up ‘reet-pe-tweet’ isnt applying, and 6 tweets appear even when the widget is set to show three on the back page, and my ‘widget-context’ isnt working either.

Can anyone shed some light on this, or has any similar experience?

    Thanks
    Dan

    PS
Im using Thematic Child Theme, I am using the latest version of WordPress (though had to do a manual install as it wouldn’t let me update automatically)
