Successfully subscribed not showing up

    Hi. I created a form with Mailchimp WP and it seems to be working fine. When I submit a name and email address it shows up in Mailchimp. However on the site, after submitting the form, the successfully subscribed message does not show up. If I input the same email address again, it does not alert me either that you are already subscribed. After submission though if i do click on the link again, it then informs me under the form that “records have been updated”
    I have set the custom messages in the dashboard under the “messages” tab. So I cannot understand why the other messages are not showing up. After clicking the subscribe button, the page just refreshes as if nothing happened. Please help! have spent so many hours trying to figure this out but have reached nowhere!!
    All versions are up to date.

    Hey @ntaran22,

    I can see a “Thank you, and welcome to the Fauj!” message in the pop-up after the form is submitted. Please note that since you are using the free version of our plugin, the page will reload after is submitted and since the pop-up is closed after a page reloads, the user will not see the message unless they open the pop-up again.

    Hi, ok thanks for your reply! Is there any way to prevent the pop up from closing automatically? So that whoever does sign up can see the message?

    Hi, I’m about to start advertising and selling my products this weekend at a fair, and I would really greatly appreciate any help to fix this. Would I have to purchase the paid version for this?
