    Hello,

We would like to edit the message “Value must be less than or equal to” when entering a number that is higher than the items on stock.

Searched all the woocommerce files without success.

    Does anybody have a hint?

    Thanks!

Just learned that this might be a browser message.

    Hi there!

You are correct that this is a browser message and not a WooCommerce message. ??

    Hi Zach,
    Thanks for posting.

We would need a different message there.

Do you have any suggestion how a message can be shown (like call customer support) when the amount selected exceeds the stock amount?

    Thanks!

A regular stock message will show like this: https://cld.wthms.co/08A9T9

If you’d like to change that to something like this: https://cld.wthms.co/Y0BNhu

You can use the Loco Translate plugin here to do that: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/loco-translate/

Once you install it, you can go to Loco Translate > Plugins > WooCommerce then create a new language (same language you already use) and find the %s in stock string, then translate it as shown here and save: https://cld.wthms.co/HZMM9E

    I hope this helps!
