    Hi,

It seems the Sucuri Plugin still loses all of its settings when it’s deactivated. This is a huge problem! I manage over 100 client sites, and have the plugin and the Cloudproxy Firewall on all of them.

If a client ever deactivates it (as they sometimes do when doing their own troubleshooting, since that’s common advice), it gets reset and they don’t realize it. So then all of our settings our lost — including the Cloudproxy API Key… so now Cloudproxy isn’t clearing when they publish new posts (among other issues).

I thought you had fixed this in a recent update, but apparently not – since it just happened to another client. Please change the plugin so it doesn’t lose settings on deactivation…maybe it can clear the settings on delete, but definitely not deactivation.

    Thank you!

    – Andrew

  • Hi Andrew,

We’ve implemented the change in 1.8.18 as you suggested. The plugin doesn’t lose its settings when it’s deactivated now. The settings will still be cleared when the plugin is deleted. Thank you so much for the useful feedback!
