Sucuri: Something went wrong with an API call (send_log action): Connection time

    Hi,

    A client of mine ( that ignored my advice to update regularely ) now can no longer log in to his wp dashboard getting this Sucuri error:

    Sucuri: Something went wrong with an API call (send_log action): Connection timed out after 20001 milliseconds

    I can no longer get in as well to change the timeout settings.
    What should I do to regain access to the dashboard please?
    Deactive the Sucuri plugin ( rename it in the plugin folder through FTP approach?

    I tried it later and got in, changed the settings.
    Hope this does the job!

    This should not happen with the new code that is already available in the development repository [1] I will continue testing and fix the possible bugs to prevent this from happening again. Thanks for the report.

    Thanks for your reply.

    However this is a non updated site ( client wont do anything about it ) and so its an older version of sucuri.

    I suppose that can explain why this happens in this outdated shop.
