Sudden Character Limits in Posts

Hey folks,

I’ve recently noticed that my blog posts will not be shown unless the number of characters (in html) is under a certain amount. What that amount is, I won’t lie, I haven’t determined yet but I’m certain I have gone over that before hand with long posts with plenty of embeded google maps.

I’ve noticed this on my two wordpress blogs Darlo’s World and Darlo’s World in Japanese, both using different themes. I do however recall a recent Askismet update that I allowed to perform automatically. I have tried disabling that particular plugin, but have not yet had any success.

You can actually see the result on the Japanese one (you don’t have to be able to understand Japanese to see where there is a problem), so if anyone has any ideas that could help me out I would be very grateful.
