Sudden folder permission problems

  • Hi,

    My blog has been running for no problems for a year now. 2011 started, the first blog was created, but for some reason, it didn’t want to upload any images any more.

    I get the annoying ‘unable to create’ or ‘unable to move’ errors.

    I tried 777, but it doesn’t help. I tried creating my own /2011/01 folder, doesn’t help.
    Did an update on WP and all plugins, didn’t help.

    After the update, I couldn’t even use NextGen Gallery any more.

    Any ideas why this problem suddenly started?
