sudden long horizontal scrollbar, overflow: hidden; no help

    Hi to you all, I suddenly got this long horizontal scrollbar. I deactivated latest plugins that I thought could be the reason, but no help.
    I added the overflow: hidden; to my body class (I have no wrapper class) but that disabled also the vertical scroll which prevented the rest of the site from being displayed.

    I checked the width properties, they are fine.
    What could it be?

    ?EDIT: It seems the issue is on the site’s index and the singles (posts), and NOT on pages.. pages are different in that they do not have the right sidebar, but I really can’t tell whats causing it.

    EDIT2: Well actually it turned out to be caused by one widget when I moved it from the left to the right sidebar, but why? I dont know :S

    However I still have the saie issue with another website (will appreciate it if you could help)

    Hi esmi Thank you.
    I still dont know what causes it.
    1- I replaced the current theme files with the original theme templates: the php templates, CSS files and JS files (including the nav.js).
    2- I validated and fixed the few errors.
    3- I removed 3 pages from the nav (to see perhaps having many of them is what causes the problem).

    All that, did not fix the problem !

    I removed the polldaddy’s widget, and the problem is gone !! What could this be ???
