Suddenly all pictures on my media are not showing.

    Hello all,

    I need help here. Suddenly all pictures on my Media didn’t showed up. The thumbnails seems broken. I am not sure what happened.
    My version is 4.0
    I deactivate or deleted these plugins: Easy Add Thumbnail, Wp-Optimized, WP Backitup, WP Fastest Cache, WP smush-it and deleted Hotlink File Prevention.

    – uploading new files are ok but the image/thumbnail didn’t show up correctly both on the editor or the post/ published post.
    As you can see all the previous pictures on the previous posts are ok on my website https://www.fashiongentrix.com but the latest post Coté Mer are the pictures didn’t show up correctly.
    – my logo above is also gone

    Please help.

    If you are not seeing the pictures, please try clearing your browser’s cache:

    or using a different and/or updated browser.

    But it’s true your facebook widget kinda looks like crap, however, then it’s an issue with the plugin’s code, not something I could help with.

    Another last note, if you’ll allow me, your website’s host seemst to have TERRIBLE issues at the present time, there’s a TWENTY SECONDS delay before pages load.
    And, even after this, there’s more than 20 MB of data to load to have a full page, for heaven’s sake it could be optimized so much !

    R you still having issues with your Image files? Are you running WordPress in a Windows Environment and using IIS web server? I have experienced this many times with WordPress sites running on IIS web server? You have to add the correct file extensions for your images in the MIMI Types settings under IIS Manager and also make sure that the website folder has the proper permissions.
    Again this is only for WordPress sites running under Windows environments using IIS web server

    Hi,
    It solved already. Thank you for the concern. The problem caused by plugin called “Hotlink File Prevention”. Even by deleting it, I still got problems. So my host just fixed it.
    They removed the so called “.htaccess” file.

    I have never been able to access your website, fashiongentrix.com.

    Every time I have clicked on a link, any link, it has returned a “Server not found” message.

    This has been over a period of several months.

    I can only access the Google cache.

    I’m a bit puzzled, and I would like to see your site! ??
