Suddenly changed audience settings in Mailchimp

    This plugin suddenly overwrote our audience settings, specifically the default from address. It was overwritten to be the admin email in WordPress.

    We almost sent a newsletter to 50 000 people with the developers email as from address. Shouldn’t the settings in the administrator panel for this plugin only be loaded from Mailchimp, and not from any local information in WordPress?

    Hi @dekadinious, thanks for reaching out. I’ll be happy to pass this suggestion along to the team for consideration. Out of the box, the plugin is designed to override Audience defaults from the plugin. However, prior to sending a campaign, you could change the Sender to any email address in Mailchimp. Perhaps, we could make that more clear in the plugin during set up to add some context.

    I think this actually happened during and update of the plugin.
