[NSFW] Suddenly embedded mp4 not longer play

Sorry for the inconvenience extremely. Can you please let us know, It is happening after any recent update? Can you please check once by a rollback to the previous version and let us know?

Yes last update Version 1.0.77.54.1 I just noticed it with a new post with mp4. Looked back an earlier post from a week ago, mp4 not loading in /amp

You can check, rolling back to .53 it worked, .but rolling back to 54 gave me WP error.

the mp4s are just images

so 1.0.77.53 was the last update which mp4 embedded videos worked.

and didn’t see a error file created, when I enabled 54. (But Critical Error page displayed)

I have enabled 54.1 now, which has no error, but which doesn’t play mp4s which are embedded.

I have given email support admin login, team@ has it now

If possilble please share the short video of issue to rectreate the same at our end, So that we will recreate it at our end but get back to you immediately.

I see the problem

with chrome you must right click the still image of the video and choose show all controls (other wise the video is a still with no play button)

then you see the play button. full screen, volume, and 3 other options.

but this step wasn’t needed before 1.0.77.54 or 1.0.77.54.1

with 1.0.77.53 and all priors the control options including play are shown.

so control (play button) no longer show as default in 54 update

When I use my pc, i see image with no controls

using IPhone with safari and chrome, the screen is white as if the video is missing.

you can verify that with your phones.

I found the problem, Version 1.0.77.54.1 doesn’t include controls=”” in the code for video embedded.

with 1.0.77.53 plugin, has controls=””
