• I was using this calendar plugin to put the meeting dates for our voluntary fire department trainings. Especially with the export-function, it was working really good.
Suddenly, they are forcing me to create a timely-account. I can’t even access the already maintained events anymore!

I can totally not recommend to use this plugin.
I will give an alternative a try.

  • If it helps, while you are looking for a replacement, we found we could still get to our existing events using standard WordPress url structure by going to [YOUR WEBSITE ADDRESS HERE]/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=ai1ec_event

This allowed us to be able to manage our existing events, and also add new ones, etc. in the meantime.

    Hi Liz,
that sounds like a really good idea. Unfortunately, I already switched to “The Events Calendar” from “Modern Tribe”. Looks good so far, the only issue I have is that there are no (free) shortlinks available to include the calendar as part of a page.
Apart from that, it looks pretty nice.

Cool…The only drawback I’ve encountered with the free version of The Events Calendar by Modern Tribe is that it doesn’t do recurring events. You can only get that in the PRO version, but if you don’t have a lot of recurring events, it’s not a problem.
