Suddenly getting 403 Error Code After WordPress 3.51 Update

  • I just updated to WordPress 3.51 and now all the post thumbnail images are no longer showing up. They are all correctly uploaded and I can see the featured image thumbnail in the post editor window. When I click on the thumbnail url I get the 403 Forbidden Error.

    I’m thinking that it has something to do with the site permissions? If so, how do I go about changing them and what values should they be?

    I’m not quite sure why this worked, but I deactivated all my plugins then re-activated them, and now suddenly the thumbnails are showing up properly again.
