I have suddenly got a text listing in white on black where a thick black bar used to be, but it opened wide to allow 5 post titles in white.
I did not intentionally do this, so how can I get rid of them?
It is taking up space at the bottom of the header.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi Indexer,

what you’re referring to actually is the main navigation on your site. Whenever you haven’t set a custom menu, WordPress will add your pages as menu items. It looks weird in your case because your pages have extremely long page titles.

What you should do is create a custom menu with your preferred menu items and assign the menu to the correct menu slot. If you’re not familiar with creating custom menus in WordPress, you can have a look here: How to create Custom Menus in WordPress.

I have run this blog for 6 months without this coming up on the front page ever. So why is it just now?
Did I click on something? When posting?

You may have made changes for the menu by mistake or installed plugins may have changed the configuration somehow. However, you can easily change this by following the instructions from the previous response.
