• After an absence of a few months, today I returned to my weblog (hosted on GoDaddy) and clicked Site Admin to log in with my usual admin username/password. I was immediately greeted with the error message, “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page,” which I have never seen, before. I tried the other administrative user with the same results.

When I revisit the page, I see that I am logged on as the administrator (Webmaster), and am greeted with “Howdy, Tom” and my avatar.
    ?
But when I click Edit My Profile, I get the same error message, and I cannot administer the website.

I have not made any changes in since my last administrative session several months ago, which went normally, without any problems. And the site seems, otherwise, to be functioning correctly.

I was running an earlier version (4.1.something), so I upgraded it [result: “WordPress 4.3.1 is installed and ready for your personal touch”], clicked https://noetictriune.com/wp-admin/, and got the same error message.

What could have happened in the interim, and how do I get normal Site Admin back?

    The subject weblog is noetictriune.com.
