Suddenly my password protected pages not working

  • I’ve had my site setup for few years. I use password protected pages functionality to protect low level secured content.

    Suddenly yesterday the passwords don’t work. I keep getting prompted to enter passwords. I noticed if I am logged on to wp-admin pages, the passwords protected pages do work as they used to.

    3 weeks ago, I moved admin to ssl and hired Sucuri.

    Any ideas

    I would start with contacting Sucuri and discussing the issue with them.
