Suddenly no background color behind text

Theme was working fine for months and months but suddenly, all of my posts missing the background color behind text. Its transparent now and defaults to the background image I have behind the whole site so it’s impossible to read black text that used to be against the white background.
I haven’t installed any new plugins, the front static page is designed with Elementor page builder so thats fine, but when you go to posts from that page, suddenly they all missing background .
