• I installed this form plugin, setup the forms and tested them before taking our new site live. All of a sudden, a few days after going live, I decided to test the forms again (not having received any) and discovered they werent sending the content/request through to the intended email address. I see a number of people are having the same problem.
I logged a support ticket and got no response. What’s the point of having a form if you dont get emailed the content/request? Also, whats the point of a form that works one day and not the next? Looks like I’ll have to find another more reliable form plugin and redo my forms since the developers arent interested in supporting their product to iron out an obvious new issue (as is evidenced by the number of people having the same problem).

    Hi Zawordpress,

We would like to help you. Can you email me [email protected]? Please provide the name or ticket number for your support account. Thanks. – Matthew

I as well am still struggling with this issue. I sent in a ticket back in the spring and was told to talk to my host. I did that and they said they fixed the part on their end that would hold it up. It did not fix anything. Now that my schedule has calmed down, I really need to remedy this situation. VFB has been successful for 2 of our sites and currently does not send emails on either. Please advise.

The quickest way to fix email issues is to install smtp. Configure your site to use SMTP
Some people have reported that after the form is submitted, no email is received. If this is the case for you, it typically means that your server or web host has not properly configured their SMTP settings.
Try using a plugin such as WP Mail SMTP to correct the issue.

I installed that plugin and did everything required. Like others who have reported the same issue, it made no difference.

I finally found a solution to this myself. I am using Cpanel for website hosting but not for the domain’s mail (this is going through a separate server). I went to ‘Email Routing’ (under ‘Email’ on the main menu page with all the icons & options) and selected “Remote Mail Exchanger” and saved that setting. Suddenly the form worked.
Hope that’s of help to someone else ??

    Hey ZA,
Really glad you figured out this problem. Varies host and server situations make a problem like this hard to diagnose. Also this problem is not a VFB bug. Would you consider changing your review??

    Sincerely,
    Matthew

(@zawordpress) Mate, I found your review giving Visual Form Builder a bagging….seems like it was your server issues, nicest thing you could do is change your review??

A review like yours is totally distorting the Plugin and not in the ‘nature of the game’ or just playing the game.

I have just downloaded and set up the Plugin and have no issues, my server correctly supports it apparently.

Do yourself and the community a favour fix you review!! it’s just plain polite.
