Suddenly Stopped working since wordpress 4.7.5

I now get the following errors:

Your backup folder is NOT writable
To correct this issue, make the folder *******************

Your backup folder MIGHT be visible to the public
To correct this issue, move the file from *********** to ***********.htaccess

To correct this issue, move the file from /*****************/wp-content/plugins/wp-dbmanager/index.php to /(((((((((((((wp-content/backup-db/index.php

The issue is, it IS writable, I even made the folder permission 777

and its not public as if i type that address, I get page 404

I cannot make any backups anymore. it worked fine for weeks and now suddenly a day after wordpress updated its now stopped working completely
