I am using Suffusion and wanted to make the links stand out more from the gray to a blue color, in Suffusion Typography tab, I have Custom Style selected not Theme styles, and have Link Color set to 0000FF and saved settings, I have it also selected as custom at bottom of this tab as well.

Yet my site picks up no changes, is still default font/link colors even after saving changes and flushing cache, like the override for theme default isn’t working.

Here is a link to a snapshot showing Suffusion settings in Typography tab.

Hello do you have a cache plugin installed? If you do can you make sure that you have cleared your cache and also clear your browser cache that sometimes helps as well.

    Kind regards

I found the problem, not only do you have to select custom style in the Typography section of the theme, but you also have to select custom style on the Skinning -> Post Background section as well.
