Suffusion – customising copyright message

    Hi,

    I’ve had a good search for the answer to this but no luck sadly.

    The suffusion theme seems to get the info for the copyright message at the bottom left from the Site Title in the General Settings page, so as such it says “? 2011 Simon Taylor – Animator” – is there a way of customising this text without changing the title of the site? I’m not great at editing files so if there’s a setting I’ve just overlooked that’d be great!

  • Have you tried looking in the theme’s footer.php template file?

    Just had a look but there’s no mention of copyright message options at all ??

    On main WP admin page you’ll see Suffusion. There should be the option for settings – click it. Under Theme Options Visual Effects is where I think you should find what your looking for. Since I no longer run the theme I can’t 100% confirm what I’ve stated.

    Go to Suffusion Options → Other Graphical Elements → Footer. You can put in the text that you want for the left part of the footer.

    FYI, there is a “Quick Search” feature built into the theme (near the top right) where you could have put in “footer”. While not a full-blown search tool, I am sure it would have yielded results in this case.

    I am using the 3.9.4 version now. (latest ver. i think)

    but the footer cannot be displayed correctly: left footer disappeared.
