Sugar CRM plugin scam

  • This plugin simply advertises their Pro version.

    The free plugin is next to useless because it does not make any fields in the form submission mandatory except Last Name which is in adequate.

    So the idea is to then get you to update to their Pro version for $99. But it does not work properly. Unfortunately you can’t tell that from their demo.

    They encode the pro version so you can only use it on a nominated domain. This means they could easily give a refund but they refuse to issue refunds even though it does not work as advertised.

    I think the plugin should be removed.

    Just because the free plugin does not so what you want it to do is not grounds for removing it from the Plugin Repository.

    They encode the pro version so you can only use it on a nominated domain.

    And that is their prerogative to do so. We do not have anything to do with commercial plugins here. Just the free plugins hosted on www.ads-software.com.
