• SUPPORT: I recently contacted support with a pre-sales question and the response was quick. I do wish, however, that there was more support for basic subscribers. I think this method of support is used by many plugin developers to push people into paid subscriptions

TUTORIALS: It’s a great plugin but with a learning curve, especially for the lesser experienced user. Suggest creating your own YouTube channel, uploading step-by-step tutorials and referring users there so they can maximize their experience with Mail Poet

FASTER RESPONSE TO UPDATE ISSUES:When MP moved from 2.0 to 3.0 my site crashed and it was very difficult to get anyone at MP to address the issue because we were on a basic plan. I found all kinds of posts online from other users who had the exact same problem but MP seemed to be in a bubble. Better to admit that perhaps the plugin wasn’t fully tested before releasing it and deal with it straight forward as opposed to keeping your clients in the dark

STILL LIKE THIS PLUGIN: I’m a novice user so there are definitely things I don’t fully understand. The thing about the update issue I mentioned is a real problem for people like me who have to depend on developers to fix things on our site when it breaks because developers are not cheap and hourly rates can really add up fast. Still, this is the best plugin I’ve found for formatting and scheduling a monthly newsletter for our membership.
