    Nice, like this…

    One critical element missing

    How about adding a checker that looks at all WP installation files which verifies that all are ‘original’ and if not ‘restore original file’

    Why?

    Because hackers are adding wp.cd.php and class.wp.php files

    How I don’t know but having a verify that ensures that no such erroneous files are added would be a bonus.

    One which I would happily pay for

    Thank you for the suggestions.

    My original intention for this plugin was something that could be installed alongside a security plugin to quickly assess other factors of your site’s health such as server, plugins, and themes.

    So, I am not sure that the file checking would fit in with that scope. Adding a feature like that may make this begin to be a larger security plugin.

    There are many security plugins available. iThemes Security offers both File Change Detection and Online File Comparisons for detecting when files are changed and comparing files to original WordPress files.

    That said, I like the idea and will definitely ponder over if that would fall into this plugin’s scope or more in the realm of a security plugin.
