• Hello,

It would be great if we had the option to be more specific when adding exclusions in the Allowlisted URLs (Param Type: POST Body).

Because for example, currently we can allow requests to /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php where the POST Body contains a parameter named “action”… but that would be allowing a lot of ajax requests from a lot of plugins! Most of the ajax actions includes this parameter name. It would be more accurate if we could specifically allow, for example, where action = my_awesome_plugin_update.

I’m not sure if there’s a special sub-forum for features request, I hope more people would agree that this would be a good feature (or maybe there’s already a way to do it and I’m missing it).

    Thanks in advance!

Hi @aebs90, thanks for your suggestion.

Making a development request here is fine as I’ll always pass it on to the team. I can never guarantee a suggestion will definitely be added (or be able to provide a delivery schedule) here on the forums, but everything put forward by our customers are discussed internally.

If you ever want to send a feature request, or provide more background information about your specific use-case/requirements you are more than welcome to email feedback @ wordfence . com directly.

    Thanks,
    Peter.
