Suggestion / Discussion: List of upcoming products for training agencies

  • Bit of a challenge here. We need to:

    1. Add a field in the backend called “Start date”.
    2. Display products in table view (we can do this with another plugin)

    Case:
    User gets to see table of upcoming classroom training courses. Sorted on the date that it starts. They can purchase now, knowing the training will start at a specific date.

    Users must be able to see the following in table view:
    – Start date of product (training/exam/workshop)
    – Product name
    – Price
    – Buy now-button.

    Nice to have:
    Products passed the start date will not be shown.

    Can’t seem to find the right plugin or script to do this in a way that is also usable for a content manager (read: easy to use, after set up is done ??

    Thanks for the topic and these great suggestions.
    1. You can change the text available date to Start date from backend settings. It’s in WooCommerce->Products->upcoming products
    2. These are really great suggestions. I will implement these.

    I have done almost everything in this suggestion. Only the shortcode for table view is left. There is another issue for that. And I am planning the shortcode functionalities for multiple purposes. This is why it is taking some time.
    So, I want to resolve this topic if you agree. And please let me know if you have any further problem.
