    can you make the save button “sticky” some how – on my screen I have plenty of space to the right, and I have to scroll all the way down to the save button (which happens quite a lot whne working with markup in the shortcodes section)

    quick and dirty fix that would work for me:

    .mla-settings-submit {
    position: fixed;
    bottom: 10px;
    right: 10px;
    }

    Thanks for your suggestion; I agree that scrolling to the bottom is annoying. My interim solution is to sprinkle Go to Top | Go to Bottom links throughout the page.

    The Shortcodes screen was one of the first Settings screen developed for MLA and it is certainly showing its age! In fact, for my next MLA version I am working on a complete replacement for the Shortcodes screen.

    The new version will be more like the current “Views” and “Uploads” tabs, with a submenu table listing the templates and a separate “Edit” screen for working on them. If you are interested in trying it out as it’s being developed, let me know.

    Thanks for your input and for your interest in the plugin. Thanks as well, by the way, for your favorable MLA review. Reviews and positive feedback are great motivators to keep working on the plugin and supporting its users.

    I have uploaded a new MLA Development Version dated 20160913 that contains a new Shortcodes tab. To get the Development Version, follow the instructions in this earlier topic:

    Shortcode not working in (special) widget

    The Development Version has a completely re-written Settings/Media Library Assistant Shortcodes tab with a more WordPress-like interface. I welcome any feedback you have on the new implementation.

    I have released MLA version 2.40, which contains the updated Shortcodes tab outlined above.

    I am marking this topic resolved, but please update it if you have any feedback on the new implementation.
