Thanks a lot for your plugin, I found it long time ago but it wasn’t updated and yesterday I came again and what a great suprise!

I’m beginning to learn how to use it in the best way and found than in Pages menu (or another post type) if I choose a parent page, doesn’t give the option to check “Also effect children” as in “URL admin”. Have you consider and is possible to add this “Also effect children” checkbox in a Post, Page or Custom post if this have children pages?

Thanks again for all your time!

Thats not a bad idea. I’ll look into implementing that in the future.

That would be great in my case, too:
I have a gallery (domain.tld/gallery/) where I want to disable two plugins which works like a charm but when someone clicks on an album the URL is domain.tld/gallery/?page_id=0&albid=1 and then those plugins are active again.
Would be nice if there were an option to disable those plugins also on the children pages.

dEM0nsTAr you should be able to accomplish what you are after with the url admin. Make sure that Ignore URL Arguments is disabled on the settings page and then enter your URL in the URL admin with the arguments. So it would be like this: omain.tld/gallery/?page_id=0&albid=1. Then when anyone accesses that URL it will take effect. But not if someone accesses omain.tld/gallery/.

    Thanks, that works great!

Update: doesn’t seem to work. Take a look at https://www.peleke.de/galerie/google/

It seems to work but as soon as you click on an album no images are shown. I have enabled the children option.

When you click on the gallery name I see that there are ajax hits being done to get the content. It looks like these 2 URLs need to also be added to the url manager with the same settings.

    Okay, now it works, thanks.
Only those two extra scripts are never loaded async but I think I have to live with that.

    Update : Sorry, didn’t help

I have added also affect children to the post edit screen. So now posts and pages can affect their children.

    Great, thanks!

    UPDATE

I’m getting this error after update:

Warning: array_keys() [function.array-keys]: The first argument should be an array in /home/pahacer/public_html/pruebas/wp-content/mu-plugins/PluginOrganizerMU.class.php on line 302

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/pahacer/public_html/pruebas/wp-content/mu-plugins/PluginOrganizerMU.class.php on line 308

I move the file PluginOrganizerMU.class.php to /wp-content/mu-plugins and try to change the file permisions but not works. Any idea?

Its because windows or svn added bad characters to the end of every line when I committed. That happens sometimes when I commit for some reason. This isn’t the first time I’ve had to fix it. I have hopefully fixed the file with version 2.6.1.

Hi Jeff, after 2.6.1 this is the error:

Warning: array_keys() [function.array-keys]: The first argument should be an array in /home/pahacer/public_html/pruebas/wp-content/mu-plugins/PluginOrganizerMU.class.php on line 163

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/pahacer/public_html/pruebas/wp-content/mu-plugins/PluginOrganizerMU.class.php on line 166

This two warnings are repeated over and over.

Try version 2.6.2. I think I fixed it.
