Suggestion for checkout labels

Hey there folks ??
it would be very useful to be able to add placeholder text to the checkout core fields WITHOUT the labels displaying by default – only display if they are actually filled out, as is the case for the following plugin: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/woo-checkout-field-editor-pro/
