    Can you please, please, remove the red “delete slideshow” from the options and advanced options column, please?

    Deleting a slideshow is not a “setting” advanced or otherwise because once deleted the options are not relevant.

    My real beef is not the correctness but that I come so close to hitting that button so many times and fortunately catch myself just in time. I can’t imagine losing a slideshow just because of a stupid mouse cursor slip and all the hard work that went into tweaking everything.

    You don’t even need that button and instead, have an “edit slideshows” button whereby one can delete whichever slideshow they want. Oh yeah, a warning popup would be welcome, or a backup option, you get the idea.

    I agree we probably need to address the UX there. Maybe have a blue save button next to it so your eyes are drawn to that instead. Or maybe hide it a little more.

    However, if you accidentally do press it, an alert will popup asking you to confirm.

    That’s great, and I’ve picked on easy to fix issues. There’s one thing though, a delete button does not belong as a thematic option because conceptually it defeats those options, therefore, it is not really an option. It belongs somewhere else where the administration is one of managing all the slideshows to allow a “which slideshow do I want to keep or delete.”

    Thanks for the feedback. We are doing a slight UI tweak this month and moving the delete button is on the list of todos. We will try to follow a WP approach so that our UI will more blend into WP.
