    Hi

It would be possible in future versions to be able to associate searches that do not have results and are popular in the search engine, offering the user a suggested answer that can help them, because I have observed that users who write with spelling errors or with some other additional word do not obtain results. The idea would be to be able to create a response for the user based on popular searches manually, or a personalized query or a URL. I really like the plugin. Thank you!

@tecnomax, thank you for this. My idea for the pro version (later this year) is to allow for fuzzy searches to take care of potential spelling errors – however it’s a lot tougher to handle and needs a bit of extra code.

Also another idea is to easily capture queries and display in the backend where you have the number of posts or alternatively easily flag 0 results which should allow a site admin to see what users are searching for, and consequently develop content if that makes sense.

    Hi

Thanks for the suggestions! I’m going to review the pro version soon! You’re right, yes! I can create almost all of that content based on those searches with zero results. In my case it is a bit complicated because it is a Commercial Directory, and I cannot invent all the information on the fly, but I am going to study each case to see how I can help those search intentions. My idea is to suggest, for example, that other companies or services are available near the User based on the relevance of the search that can satisfy that intention. Thanks for the support!

Good to hear it. I’m currently working on the pro version of Contextual Related Posts – targeting a H2 launch of Better Search Pro. Likely my new features are going to go into the pro plugins.

If you’d like to be updated on this (+other plugins), I have a newsletter for WebberZone – not just for this plugin but everything.
