Perhaps you can also allow an OPTIONAL background behind the cookie message

    – show full screen background: yes/no
    – opacity of background: 10-100% in 10% steps
    – color of background: black / white / select color

This way a website user is blocked from continuing to use the site without giving ANY feedback in the cookie window.

    Hi @jackstron,

that is a nice idea. As soon, as the centered feature goes live, this will be a part of it. Thanks a lot for your support.

    Hi @jackstron,

I just released a version with blocking background. At the moment with no customization possible.

    Thanks again for your Feedback!

    Thank you. Looks great.

But: Can you make the body NON SCROLLABLE until a user opted in. (he should not be able to scroll/read the page until giving an answer)

Right now when a user selects “Deny”, the black background is removed and the user can continue to use the site — which I would like to avoid. If use is selecting “Deny”, I would like to tell him he has to opt in for using the site. Is that possible somehow?

    Hi,

at the moment you can only tell him, that he has to opt in by enabling “show until user accepts”. If the user then denies it will pop up again and block the page on the next page view.

Showing the user another message after denial would be possible, but i think if you want to have this solution, it is quite similar, as if you just use the compliance type “Just inform users..”.
Because if the user really has no choice other then to accept, there is no need of showing him the deny button.

In the scrolling thing i will definitely have a look.
