When editing a table that is configured to paginate on display could the table edit screen also be paginated?

If this is very problematic could this area be collapsed by default? I am finding that rendering and searching the public view of large tables works well, but I am finding that the Table Edit page which defaults to showing all entries is more problematic.

Thanks for a nice plugin, the integration between datatables and WordPress is very neat.

    Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

I see what you mean, but unfortunately, due to how table saving works, this is not possible at the moment. I’m really sorry.
Having said that, I’m already working on a better and faster edit screen experience, but that will still take time to complete.

    Regards,
    Tobias

Thanks for the quick reply. Good luck with your changes.

Luckily on the Table Edit screen, the Table Contents’ collapse setting appears to be a sticky/persistent setting. Is this personal or for all site users?

    Thanks again.
