• It would be great to be able to also print a packing label that can be put onto the front of a package or envelope.

There are a couple of other plugins that do this I know, but they are over complicated and having too many plugins is not always the best solution.

I use Horizontal A6 Printing labels right now, or print onto A4 and cut out and tape on. This size seems to fit most packets and envelopes.

The label should include the shop address, if it has been added in the settings. The customers shipping address and telephone number. I guess other options from the settings could also be included like logo, compliments, policy etc.

    Here is an example: https://prnt.sc/gmi8dj

I hope you guys can manage to add this feature. Keep up the great work. This is still one of the most useful plugins for Woo

@gilesytheking Apologies for the delayed reply.

I agree about adding a packing label option. I have seen other plugins do that. But it seems logical to add that feature in our plugin itself. Could you please give me a sample of the packing label you have currently for your store?

In the meantime, I will discuss about this feature with my team & probably get it released in this month hopefully.

Thanks for the appreciation. ?? If you could send some feedback via a review here on the plugin repo, that would be awesome.

It can be done. When support from the old author was discontinued I spent a lot of time adapting the template for use with S3 Label sheets. A4 with peel off delivery labels.https://images.esellerpro.com/2477/I/291/228/LABEL-SINGLE-C-0.jpg
    I have 3 set up:
    – my own store which is 1st Class postage,
    – eBay store 2nd Class postage
    – and use Invoices for when I ship and invoice a company.

The label section prints with the correct postage artwork for each store and loads different information into different sections of the template depending on whether it’s my site, eBay or Invoices. On one, my logo is displayed, another it isn’t. Terms and information differ.

Invoices loads my payment terms and bank details along with order notes.
To make better use of space, I’ve shortened the ‘dead’ space to the right of Order Details to display Customer Order Notes or Payment terms.

I have also changed the buttons & names on my admin screen to make it easy printing eg ‘Receipt’ is now called eBay.

I tried to create a 4th variation but couldn’t make it work so gave up!

But since the update to the plugin and the php functions and hooks changing it’s a total nightmare trying to figure out how to recreate what I’ve done! I’m not a coder, just a designer with determination and a lot of trial end error! So I’m still using the old version which is think is causing performance issues, but I’m so reliant on the functionality I can’t afford to change.

    Hi @fatpotanga,

Could you please send us the changes that you have made? We can have a look at them & make them compatible with the latest plugin version.

You could probably drop us an email on support at tychesoftwares dot com with the files where you have made the changes or send us the modified plugin copy itself.

    Hi Vishal,
Apologies for the slow response, I’ve been away for a couple of days.

I really appreciate the offer – it’s probably easier I send you the modified plugin.

    Many thanks

    Hi guys,
Just following the conversation and curious if there’s movement towards adding this functionality to the base plugin.

    Thanks so much!
