• I have two suggestions for a future update of this great plugin, which I hope you’ll consider. Both have to do with Notifications:

    1. We would like the ability to send a notification only on Post Publication (including Scheduled Posts) to an individual/group. Currently if an individual or group is selected for Notifications, they get ALL notifications, such as post status changes, editorial comments, etc. (of which there are a lot). It would be nice to separate these out so that the person who is responsible for promoting Posts (our social media coordinator) can be notified when a new post is live or scheduled, but they don’t need to see all the other notifications.

    2. We would also like the ability to have the Post’s permalink in the “Post Scheduled” Notification, so that our social media coordinator can use it in scheduling the various social networks posts……we realize that the post permalink isn’t technically valid until the post is actually published/past it’s scheduled date so adding it with a caveat is okay, but we are cautious to not change a permalink after a post is scheduled. Without this, our social media coordinator must wait on scheduling social media posts until the post is live and then must manually go get that link.

I’m happy to do a bit of hacking myself in the meantime, but could use some direction. I tried using the get_sample_permalink() function without success….any suggestions would be gratefully appreciated!
