Sum a column

thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

Sums are possible by using a formula, see https://tablepress.org/tablepress-features-formulas/

However, they are only supported in tables, so that showing a result on a custom page is not possible ??

Is there is a variable for the last cell in a column?
Like A999? Even if it doesnt have 999 rows

Also, cant this data be updated in a post meta
Then sum that post meta in a single page

no, sorry, there’s no such variable for the last row ??

Storing this in a post meta entry would be possible with PHP code, most likely, but it’s not something that TablePress should be or will be doing by default.

I see, do you have an idea on how to get the data of the last cell? even if it changes with tables? maybe I can use the rows numbers and use that number as a variable for the cell?

you could maybe use the [table-info] Shortcode, as discussed on https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/query-and-sum-the-number-of-all-rows/

Then, you could follow the idea from https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/referencing-data-from-another-tables-and-formulas/#post-7012433 to be able to use that Shortcode as a reference in the formula.
