Summary issues on my Home Page of my Blog

  • Hi,

    My site is https://rodinhood.com that uses the twenty ten theme.

    I have tried to set ‘summary’ on the reading settings of my dashboard, but full articles continue to appear.

    How do I fix this?

    (Ps – I did try and read up lots of earlier posts and threads – still confused, specially when it came down to changing the code in the theme css etc) – hence posted this.

  • The Full/Summary options on the Settings->Discussion page refers to your RSS feed – not your blog web pages. You will need to edit loop.php in the theme. But be warned that your changes will be over-written the next time you upgrade WordPress or the theme. For this reason, it is recommended that you consider creating a child theme for your customisations.
