• Hi, One of the reasons i am leaving blogger is that i can have summaries to my posts which can then be expanded via more <!–more–>
but i notice that feature becomes disabled when using a wysiwyg.
    Can anyone help?
Also does anyone know of a way to import both template and posts from blogger?

  • WP ha s ascript in the standard package for importing from blogger.
Forget the template – first make sure the posts are imported and work well. After that you can pick a theme or create your own. (Warning: ‘template’ has different meaning in WP lingo ??
Cannot help with the wysiwyg: I am not using it. Never.

There is a steady blogger to WP stream developing. You are very welcome. I wouldnt want to talk in terms of importing a template. But you can get a theme very similar straight away and then fiddle a bit. And there is a growing niche of blogger lookalike blogs developing. I wouldnt worry. For the posts you need an import mysql guru. One should be along soon but the short answer is yes you can.

Anyone have any advice/workaround for the summary issue when using the wysiwyg?

is ther perhaps a way to add a second field like in MT?

You will have to wait until a wysiwyg guru comes around ??
Or, and this is an advice for all your future questions: do a search here and find all the wysiwyg related threads – maybe the answer is somewhere in those posts…
