Before I start asking what is wrong, I need to now if what I have done thus far is acceptable. Here is a sequential list of installation. If you don’t now some of the steps, that’s fine. I just need to know in general if there is anything out of place or should be done differently. Looking for acceptable functionality before I start troubleshooting. Don’t want to waist anyone’s valuable time. Thank you.

Well, I’m not sure what you’re asking for, but from your list, you do have WordPress installed on a web server than many use (not the most popular, but that’s fine), using a child of the default theme, with plenty of plugins that many people use.

How about this question, why do you feel that something in your list would be “out of place or should be done differently”?

James, thank you for your quick response
The test site https://www.leproject.org is a live public address accessing the DMZ to a public sided 2008R2 Web Server using IIS 7, with WordPress 3.9.1 using TwentyFourteen theme.
When you say “not the most popular”, are you refering to OS, WP or Theme? and do you have suggested alternative?
In response to your question of why? I am about to post seperate issues so as not to clutter up this thread.
I have read dozens of threads dealing with:
    1. space between paragraphs
    2. The use of HTML code in a CSS environment.
The approach of how to remove space between paragraphs is done with such repetitive consistancy in what I have read, when I try to do as outlined, I come to the conclusion that I either don’t have the right tool or there is a step in the process I am not doing correctly.
With all of that said, It appears that I have the necessary basic configuration and have not left anything obvious out.
my next post will be “Who Knows How To Remove Space Between Paragraphs Twenty Fourteen”
Thanks again James. Any help is appreciated.

I’m referring to IIS in general. Apache is still the most popular these days, and WordPress user to be terrible on IIS, but not any more thank goodness. ??

The approach of how to remove space between paragraphs

Someone will be along in that other thread with specifics eventually, but I recommend familiarizing yourself with CSS in general. All you’d need to do the above is adjust the margins on the paragraph tag.
