    I just wanna share this new theme I did. I never like dark theme myself. I did this one for sake of practicing. I think dark themes are not long lasting and it doesn’t look good when I have images or icons which are not made specially for the ‘darkness’. However there are some very good looking ‘dark’ themes out there.

    The header image is a very nice one I took earlier at the little Disneyland theme park here. I was quite tired when I took that picture but the beautiful colors in the sky attracted me.

    I have 8 errors from validation, 7 from the ezLogin plugin that I did (can’t blame anyone) and 1 due to Technorati search.

    Am not good at colors so looking forward to comments for further adjustment. Again this is one of my barebone theme so there isn’t any search built-in. I use external search such as technorati or google’s. Here is the site, just click 0.38-sunset on the theme switcher.

    Announcing an improved version of this Sunset theme 0.4

    Credits go to dhtml goodies where I found a better way to do sliding show/hide of sidebar content. If you have a very long sidebar you may find this useful as visitor can open just one at a time. With the the content hidden you could squeeze more groups into the sidebar.

    This Sunset version 0.4 is now available for download, here is the download page.

    The deviation from norm is that there is no search built-in so you could either insert your preferred search facility from default theme or other fancy ajaxed search etc, there are many choices out there.

    I simply use technorati or google site search.

    Not everyone likes dark theme therefore I made a bright one named “sunrise”. Switching can be done via a link at the footer. “Sunrise” is meant to be simple, plain, imageless and of white.
