    I upgraded to sunshine photo cart 3 from 2.9.5 on a test site.

    The galleries have not been brought over, it seems that they have to be rebuilt from scratch. I read somewhere that a script would have made the conversion automatically…. do we have to run this script after the upgrade?Before upgrading on the real site, I would like to understand all the operations needed in order to get everything right (i.e. FTP upload position path has changed in a subfolder “upload” – are there other operations to be carried out manually)

  • Don’t worry – we are having the same issue… 455 galleries and ‘0’ images showing in them. Derek (Sunshine) is aware of the issue, although it’s about 3am his time currently so don’t expect anything for a few hours! All of our galleries are made using FTP so I can only assume this is the issue – knew I should have installed the new plugin version on a test site ??

    All the images are definitely unaffected, so hopefully it will work – although, I made a test gallery and used FTP to create it, it makes the album cover but no images in the album when you enter it.

    I went to your site and I am seeing galleries. Have you been able to resolve the issue?

    The most common issue I am finding is people who had add-ons did not update them OR not running the Sunshine 3 update process. All the data in this update is re-organized so you must run the update process to see images and galleries again.

    Yes I upgraded to 3.0.1 and ran the update process.
    It works however only with Sunshine “classic” or “cover” theme.
    If I select wp theme (Fukusawa or Twenty Twenty-One or Twenty Twenty-Two or Twenty Twenty-Three) gallery won’t show.

    On your main gallery page, do you have the new [sunshine_galleries] shortcode? That should have been added during the update process but maybe didn’t happen for you.

    It was missing (I think I deleted and recreated the page, my fault) ! Now is ok! Thanks!
