Super Admin as admin on main blog

  • Is the Super Admin supposed to be an administrator of the main blog, ie blog id ‘1’? Because I keep losing my status as administrator on mainblog.com, I get put back to being a Subscriber. Then I set myself as administrator again, and a few days later lose it again…

    Of course this has little effect on anything, I’m still the Super Admin, but on the front end I rely on some menus to show that depend on recognising the user_level of the logged in person, there are some menus/links that required a level of 1 or higher, if I’m just subscriber they don’t show (I know user_level is deprecated but still use it here..).

    when you lose your status, is that right after creating a new blog or user? There was a bug that was fixed where this was happening in mu.

    It could be, if so it’s not every time either of those events happen though, I’ll update here if I ever put my finger right on it.
