Super New, Probably a Dumb Question

    Ok, I’m completely new to WordPress and am having a lot of difficulty getting my site going. My biggest problem right now is trying to figure out how to set my homepage. My site is: therealryanpeet.com

    Currently my homepage is coming up as just my blog entries. However, I would like my homepage to be designed the way I designed the “Home SmallSlide” page in the navigation. Essentially, I want that page to be my homepage. I thought I had this as my homepage about 10 minutes ago, but it seems to have reverted back to just the blog posts. I’m also trying to figure out how to have my blog posts display on my homepage as summaries, not as whole posts. So, yeah. I have a ton more to figure out, but it seems like getting a homepage actually settled was the most important place to start. Thanks a ton in advance!
